First Day of School!

Two very beautiful girls, one first day of school! Maddison is now a veteran Junior High Schooler and Morgan entered 1st grade. (all day school, finally) She has been ready for all day something, for some time now. Maddy is growing up way to fast, especially for Travis's likes. Travis took her to school the first day to pay the ,FREE PUBLIC SCHOOL, registration fee and Maddy walked 20 feet behind Travis. When she got in the school, she did not want anything to do with her dad, and was completely embarassed when he walked up to give her the year book we bought from last year! She was totally embarassed like oh my gosh!!!! ha ha ha Morgan seems to be a little the same. When she got settled into her classroom, she did not want to hug me good bye and acted like I wasn't even there! Girls! Landon on the other hand is my mamma's boy. However, I am thinking he will enjoy his time at Pre-school as much as I will enjoy my few hours a week, ALONE! Goals for that time alone, excercise! I would like to shed a few pounds before Christmas. I would also like to start going to the Gym I have a free membership to! Goals! Goals! Goals! All in all, the girls are loving school and Landon can't wait for his to start. On a side note Grandpa Ziegler is coming to Utah this weekend to treat us to the BYU football game. Oh the kids are soooooo excited. SO GO BYU!!!!!!!!

New word in the dictionary ....Honeybud!

Funny story.........Tonight for dinner I made crepes. All the kids were sitting around the table getting their own crepes loaded with what they wanted. Maddy decided to have honey on hers. Since I am not a honey fan, I rarely get it out and I don't think Landon has ever seen the honey bottle that we have in the cupboard, ever. So curious, he asked Maddy what she was putting on her crepe. Maddy Replied " It's honey......bud!" Landon then turned to Travis and asked "Dad what is Honeybud?" We have decided that Landon is our honeybud! So cute!

Family Fun!

Morgan had a soccer game last Thursday and also pictures! (hence the cute hair for a soccer game) She did really well! Maddy and Landon had a little fun of their own that night!
Tomorrow is the start of a new school year. I am looking forward to having some time alone with Landon this week. His preschool does not start until next Thursday. We went school clothes shopping this weekend and all seems to be happy with their stuff!!! It should be a fun year! I am so greatful for our children and the sweet spirits they are!

Our Annie

Our little Annie.........Anheuser as she was first called and Annie Busch as Grandpa Ziegler calls her. She is our best friend, our night watch, Megatron's sidekick, and the best dog ever. (even according to the Vet) This last month she has struggled with a couple of growths on her right cheek. It has only gotten bigger and she keeps scratching at it and causing bacterial infections. In about two weeks she will maybe undergo a surgery to remove the growths. The hard part of all this of course, is how much can we afford and will the growths be cancerous. Our Vet has been extremely kind in understanding the money situation and she herself said she would take her home if we could not afford the surgery. We dearly hope for the best and we pray she will be healed, so we can have her around for 4 or more years more!!!! We love you Annie Girl!

Finally Sleeping!!!

Well aparently we are all about girlie hair and soccer this past week. We have really tried hard to start the school rutine this week in preparation for the start of school this coming Monday. It is going well so far! Morgan still wishes to watch a movie at bedtime, but she'll get used to it. We really had a great summer and I can not believe that it is practically over. I will however enjoy cooler weather, but will miss wearing my flip flops. The little kids really are excited for school to start however, Maddy is not. She will get to school and back with her friends and I think she will be just fine! Travis is healing well from his surgery and amazingly he does not snore any more! I honestly, and I say this with complete truthfullness, have not slept this well in years!!! Landon finally sleeps with out waking for a drink, but every time I would wake up with Landon, Travis would be snoring so terribly that I would either end up on the couch or laying there for hours trying to go back to sleep. And ending up on the couch was never a goodnights rest either! I am completely amazed at what a good nights rest can do for your body! Since I have not had one for so long...I really do notice a difference! Thank you Tonsils!!!! With all that sleep I have more energy to do Girlie Hair!!! Here is the latest do! Plus Landon scored TWO goals tonight at his soccer game....Wahoooo!

Maddy did Morgan's hair this afternoon! It is SOOOO cute. I loved it!!! Morgan and I think that Maddy should be a Hair Designer to the Stars....she is awesome!

2008 Soccer Season

Landon had his first Soccer Game last night! He did great! It is an under 5 co-ed league so it is pretty interesting to watch, but non the less fun! Morgan has her first game tomorrow night so we will update after the game!

I've been Tagged

How to play this game of tag: Post these rules on your blog. List: 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names.
3 Joys
1. My friends! Old and New! I have some wonderful friends from growing up in Pinedale who to this day, I still cherish. As well as the friends I have acquired, through out the past 14 years, post high school!
2. A good batch of Yummy Sweet Strawberries
3.Watching the kids grow up. I really do not like that they are growing up, nor do I want it to go by fast, but it is so cool to just glance over and see this grown up little person who is trying to be just like you!
3 Fears
1. Drowning!!!!
2. Watching one of our children getting hurt and unable to do anything about it!
3. Okay, Okay, I am afraid of bees, wasps or hornets. There I said it!
3 Goals
1. To get in shape...I do work at Gold's Gym. You'd think I could accomplish this one pretty easily with a free membership!
2. To read the Book of Mormon again by the end of the year!
3. My life long goal and challenge...To Be Tan with out faking it!!!
3 Current Obessions/Collections
1. Blogging..... Thanks to Jamie and Trisha!

3 Random Surprising Facts about myself

I had a small motorcycle accident the summer before my senior year with my brother Jamison's current girlfriend. After that accident, I have really struggled with driving at night and taking corner's on the road while being a passenger! I still do not remember that day or much of the morning after the accident!
3. I LOVE Dreyer's Summer Peach Pie (limited edition) icecream! This really is my ALL time favorite! Oh so yummy!!!!
Well, truly I do not have any other friends who blog, just the family that have been already tagged...sorry!

Landon the Pirate and Landon the Soccer Player....Arghhhh!

A fun evening at Pineview!

Last saturday we ventured up to Pineview Resevior to do a little swimming. Travis, Morgan, and Landon did most of the swimming. It was fun and we sure missed Maddy while she was at Monica's!

Riding the Gondola in Jackson

While in Pinedale this last week, we took a trip to Jackson and rode the Gondola up the mountain. As we were traveling there in the car, the closer we got, the more determined Morgan was to NOT ride it! She could see how high it went and she really was scared! But after Aunt Trisha said she would ride it if Morgan did, that did it....she wanted to ride! It took 12 minutes from bottom to top. I was glad she rode plus Gabi and Maddy were with her! We had a fun trip to Pinedale and I discovered a new love...Mountain Mocha's Roasted Marshmallow yummy smoothie!!!!!!!! I intend to try a new smoothie each time we go to Pinedale. They were so GOOD! Thanks Trisha! I can not believe how Gabi and Maddy are growing up so fast. And still I do not know how Lori keeps up with Kenzie! Fisher is the sweetest baby ever and I can't wait for him to get a little older and play with the big boys. Kade and Konnor are quite the little swimmers. What fish! and how about Konnor, swimming in the deep end!!! We sure missed Uncle Jamison, as my kids remined me every so often that he was not there!! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for putting up with all our craziness! We love them lots! Here are a few more pics of the trip!
