Miss Livvy

Comes with drool, a tutu, a bracelet, and a bow! Our sweet girl is 4 months old! This is a rare moment when she actually liked sitting in her Bumbo seat! I do beleive I will be returning the farely expensive item, do to her lack of, well......sitting in it! It is a week old and she has sat in it 5 times lasting 10 min.-15 tops! Silly girl. She is growing like a weed and keeping up in height with her siblings, but her weight and head size are a bit smaller than the other two! We also discovered her lazy eye, as it is apparent in this picture. (her left) She is scheduled with a Pediatric Opthomologist (sorry Nate if I spelled it wrong lol) in November. Hopefully we can strengthen that eye and call it good. Otherwise, we'll take whatever comes her way! Olivia May Tanner has been such a joy in our lives and she makes us all grin from ear to ear with her sweet smiles and darling little giggles! AND I particularly LOVE the fact that at 8:30-9:00pm I can lay her down in bed wide awake and she will go to sleep, on her own, until 6:30-7:00am! Sweet, sweet girl indeed!

This one's for our ANNIE girl! (or Anhieser, as her real name is. NO we did not name her!)

5 weeks ago today, our Annie girl gave birth to 7 sweet little puppies. 2 chocolate, 2 blonde and 3 black Golden Retriever/Lab mix! She surprised us all when Travis discovered the biggest one under the back porch, then two more in her Igloo Kennel. The days since then have been exciting and full of fun as we get to know each one of their personalities. We lost one blonde one, the runt and ONLY girl of the bunch, but feel lucky to have the remaining "boys" as we call them. Our sweet Annie girl has taken amazing care of her unexpected pups and has done everything according to the book. We are proud of her and love her even more for what she has done! She has been a good dog. Hardly given us any trouble. (unless you ask Travis who stepped in two piles of you know what when she was 8 or 9 months old or ask me who had to clean up her first bowl movement after giving birth....in my front living room, on the fairly new carpet) Other than that we have really been blessed to have such a great dog! Well done Annie girl....WE LOVE YOU! Here are a few shots of our little bunches of fun...I think I just might cry next Friday when we have to give most of them away. It really has been fun! (and as usual....stupid neighbor dog!)

Minus some tonsils!

Morgan after surgery, yummy!
Morgan after surgery...popsicle's are great!
Morgan before surgery, they gave her this little teddy bear!
Nicki and Morgan, just before we left to the surgery center

Morgan, right after surgery, a little groggy still from the anesthesia!

Miss Morgan was very brave yesterday, as she allowed the Doctor to remove her "massive" tonsils from her throat. (I got some flack from posting the pictures on Facebook, so I will spare you the gross tonsils picture :) If you really wanna see them tell me, I can send a picture via email ha ha! We thought they were pretty darn cool to see) The surgery lasted less than 40 minutes and Dr. Major was impressed with the fact that she did not shed one drop of blood when he removed the tonsil's. Don't know if that is normal for kids, but hey, we'll take it since it helps with the recovery. Since coming home she has not been dizzy nor has she thrown up. A positive for mommy! Yesterday was pretty easy, last night and today has been a lot harder! But all in all she is being such a trooper and it looks like a quick road to recovery. It has to be quick, she is way excited to go visit Grandma and Grandpa Ziegler in Wyoming next week and wants to feel all better by then. Here's hopin'! :)

Farmington Festival Days Celebration

One of our favorite times of the year is Farmington Festival Days! We love the parade and the Fireworks....what I never knew until this year was that there is more festivities on Saturday at the park! A whole bunch of them...Venders and Shows and Music and more....We went to the park to see Kaitlin Phelps's clogger's and found out there was SO much more to do. Unfortunately, I did not have any money with me so our time was short, but next year I am saving a little cash just for the festivities on Saturday after the parade! Here are some pictures of our wonderful day! A BIG thanks goes out to Richard and Joyce Lindsley (Maddy's Grandparents on her mom's side) who let Maddy, Morgan and Landon ride horses in the Parade! They had a BLAST and were so cute waving to all the people! Until next year Farmington Festival Days.......we will miss you!
Lincoln Mann with his hand full of candy! You go little buddy!

Richard Lindsley and Landon! He and his wife are part of the Farmington City Trails Committee. This was going to be their last year riding horses in the parade and they were kind enough to let Morgan and Landon in on the fun! Thanks Maddy and thank you Richard and Joyce!
Look at my little cowgirls! We should live in Wyoming ha ha ha! Reminds me of the good ol days when I really truly wore Rocky Mnt Jeans, ropers, cowboy button up shirts and a big belt buckle with two hearts! Yes my Utah friends.....I was a cowgirl and still am at heart!

Here come the kids on the horses!

Olivia May Tanner May 20th, 2009 7.11lbs 20 inch

We are so very excited that our little girl has finally arrived! Okay so I will tell the very short version of how things went. Last Tuesday I went to my Doctor's appointment and what can you imagine....I had High Blood Pressure still! Dr. Johanson so kindly said, "It was time to be done." I thought maybe she meant in a week. She actually meant Thursday of that same week, but when she called the hospital they said Thursday was already full so she went for Wednesday! That was literally less than 24 hours away!!!! I was so excited! And.... with in 24 hours we were at the hospital getting hooked up to all the fun monitor's! To cut to the chase, around 10:30 p.m. the nurse came in to check me...I was dialated to a 7. Ugh we thought....another few more hours! The two nurses left us and we prepared for a few more hours of dialating! Less than 5 minutes later..I am not kidding less than 5 minutes...both nurses came rushing back in to look at the monitors. Travis asked what was wrong and our awesome nurse Kelli, said that the baby's heart rate had dropped and they wanted to go ahead and check me again. Again, I thought! You just did. So goes the drill and what do you know....I was dialated to a 10 and ready to go! Holy Cow you say....but wait....isn't the doctor supposed to be present? :) They paged her and luckily she lives only 10 minues away. She was there in a flash! and so was little miss Olivia May Tanner! I pushed 1 time and breathed then pushed 1 more time and half way through that push she told me to stop...and then labor was over! She had arrived and I only had to push 1 1/2 times! What a great baby! We have been very blessed and we are so greatful for all four of our children! Many thanks goes out to our friends who so willingly watched Maddy, Morgan and Landon for us! You guys took such awesome care of our kids, they all wish they could go back and have a few more days with you all!! I am being very serious here! Thanks to Grandma's and Grandpa's who travelled far and near to see our sweet bundle of joy and to friends who travelled near to visit us before and after delivery! Thanks to all who have wished us well and followed along! We love you all and thank our Heavenly Father for each one of you!

Landon Travis Tanner is now 5 years old! Wahoo

Landon had such a great birthday! He had a very BIG decision to make....Chuck E Cheese's or Bowling??? Decision's, decision's! After a few days wrestling with the idea's of both, the final choice was made a few hours before meeting up with Grandma and Grandpa Ziegler and Kade and Konner Ziegler. (cousin's) Bowling it was gonna be and he was excited! We ventured up to Fat Cat's in Ogden (to use Travis's discount for being employeds at Gold's Gym) and we all had a wonderful time! Plus Fat Cat's is kinda like a Chuck E Cheese's, so we had a "win, win situation" Happy 5th Birthday our dear sweet Landon! We love you very much and are proud of who you are! Our little missionary, byu football player, and policeman in training!

Morgan Audrey Tanner is now 7! Wahooo

With everything going on in our lives, I have completely failed to blog about Morgan turning 7 years old, April 18th! I kinda feel badly that it has taken me so long to download the pictures and post them. I truly can not believe she is 7! She is such a grown up little girl, sometimes I forget she was first a baby. She entered this world a whopping 8lbs 14oz and a complete surprise to her mother and father. (we kept her gender a surprise) We love you Morgan and we are proud of who you are. Here are some pictures from her grand day with us and Grandma and Grandpa Ziegler at Chuck E Cheese!

Stop Congress Woman Carolyn Maloney's New House Bill!!!

This post is dedicated to help the stopping of Congress Woman Carolyn Maloney's (Rep NY) new house bill on capitol hill! She would like to add a crap load of new "wilderness" to Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Oregon. (words by sharron ziegler) ->By designating more wilderness area, this could change us forever. Roads would be torn out, White Pine and Lake Side would be ended, access to rivers and lakes will be gone, and the boys scout camp will be gone. (utah boy scouts included) Getting to Jackson could be impossible. Ranchers will lose the use of their lands. We would not be able to go to Fremont Lake unless we walk. Washington has been hiding this proposal and keeping it quiet. This is where I grew up and enjoyed the benefits of the access to all of these beautiful places. With this proposal I would not be able to show my children all those places! Congresswomen Maloney is from stinking New York City. She does not even live in Wyoming nor ,should I bet, has she ever been to these places. This is High Government at it's worst and she needs to be stopped. If you have ever been or go to Pinedale,Wyoming or Jackson Hole, Wyoming you just might want to call Congresswomen Maloney and ask her to stop this silly bill or you might not ever get to visit your favorite places unless you take an entire day of hiking, just to get there!!! I have researched her information and am going to post in. Call, fax or write. Hopefully if enough people bug her, we can stop this bill from being passed. It goes for vote on May 5th, 2009!!!! Hurry and call! Call every day, fax every day!!! Bug her bug her bug her!! Let's stop this bill!!!!!!!!! Even if you have never been to these places, you'll never get to unless we stop this! You can also research the bill and info by going to www.pinedaleonline.com
Go to Proposed new wilderness on the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Alliance for the Wild Rockies graphic.Wilderness designation proposed for Fremont, New Fork Lakes, Wyoming Range story! Then go to "Co-Sponsor's" for the bill's info!
